STL POD1 Latency

Update:The latency issues resulting from a DDOS attack were quickly resolved yesterday, and measures were put into place so that it doesn't occur again.

 

We are investigating high latency in our STL Datacenter in POD1. We think it is related to a DDOS attack and are working on remediation.

We will follow up with more details soon.


Report of isolated network interruption - STL Pod1 Oct. 13

Update: This disruption to the subnets in question was due to a Denial of Service attack. The systems team was notified, and the attack was mitigated. All traffic if flowing to the subnets in question and all systems are performing nominally. If you are still experiencing connectivity issues to any servers or services, please contact support:

This morning we noticed a few servers that become unresponsive. Our Systems team is looking into the issue. We are currently not reporting any servers being unresponsive. If you experience any slowness, please reach out to our support team to review.
Our Systems team is still reviewing the instance and will provide further information as it comes available.


Shared Storage Maintenance in Saint Louis October 3rd, 2019 09:00PM Central

Update: This task has been completed without issues. All systems are online and functioning normally.

This evening, Tuesday October 8th, 2019, we will be performing routine SAN firmware updates on our primary SAN unit in Saint Louis. These SAN controllers are fully redundant, and no issues or associated downtime is expected. The firmware upgrade will begin starting at 2100 Central and should take no more than 2 hours.

    This evening, Thursday, October 3rd at 10:00 PM Central, we will be conducting storage, and storage area network related maintenance. This maintenance task will be encapsulating both the St. Louis and Ashburn datacenters. The maintenance being performed should not be production impacting, and this RSS will be updated when maintenance is complete.
